Connect International Event in Groningen

The meeting will be held on Saturday, 17th of September at 13:00. We will have drinks and maybe even breakfast in one of the cafes in Forum Groningen while doing a little interesting quiz about Forum, Groningen and the Netherlands. And in the end we will go up to the observation deck on the roof of the Forum to admire Groningen.

One-two times per month on Saturday we discover and enjoy new cafes in Groningen. Sometimes we also do a quiz about interesting facts about Groningen and the Netherlands.

Join us, discover beautiful Groningen's cafes and enjoy great company of internationals and locals!

Registration is mandatory, we need to know the number of people for a table reservation. The meeting point will be sent by email after registration one day before the meeting.

Cost: as much as you want to spend on your drinks and food.

"There I was, sat in my Dutch house, after having fetched my children from their Dutch school, waiting for my Dutch husband to come home, feeling very integrated. And yet... Wouldn’t it be lovely to meet some other expats, speak English again, not feel so foreign, even just now and then? A quick internet search led me straight to Connect International. After a few false starts, I made it to a Connect Coffee Morning in Groningen. I received a warm welcome and was delighted to hear there was a Book Club, right here on my doorstep! We discuss the books in English, the discussions can become lively and are always interesting, and it is a good place to share our expat experiences too."
