Want to "Dance with the world" and explore the beautiful village of Warffum? Join us for a trip to the Op Roakeldais festival! We will start our day exploring different snacks from around the world after which we'll enjoy the parade where the international groups showcase their music and dances, free of charge.

If you wish to continue the party at the festival arena and experience, for example traditional Dutch dance or improve your moves during one of the workshops, you can purchase a ticket at the entrance or online.

Fee: Parade free, festival area day ticket 10€

Op Roakeldais is an annual international dance and music festival for cultural dance in Warffum between 22-26 of June. This year it will host groups from Chili, Hungary, Kenya, India, the Netherlands among others. There will be several shows and workshops. "My husband and I moved to Groningen in the beginning of September 2016. International Welcome Center North was one of the first places we went to get help with all the paperwork and settling-in. We became members of Connect International and now we get a weekly newsletter by e-mail about the next week's events in the area. I have attended Culinary Club and Coffee Morning and have met many new friends. I've met people in the same situation: being in a new country without knowing anyone. I've found the events of Connect International really helpful to meet new people and to try something different."
